Festivals, shows and other events
Simpecao of the Brotherhood of Sanlucar in Bajo de Guia, El Rocio celebtares the pilgrimage and the Fair chamomile in May. The Carnival in February, Easter in Sanlucar de Barrameda, in March or April, declared of International Tourist attraction of Andaluz., the Pilgrimage of El Rocio, at Pentecost, the Manzanilla of the Fair, in May or June.

Horse racing on the beach at Sanlucar, in August, declared of National Tourist Interest, the Festival Internacional de Musica de Sanlucar de Barrameda, The Festival de Jazz de Sanlucar de Barrameda, The Feast of Our Lady of Charity Coronada, patron saint of the city on August 15, The Feast of Exaltation of the Guadalquivir River, in August, declared of National Tourist Interest of Spain. The Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Algaida in Cologne Monte Algaida, the Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist, patron of the city on October 18.

Horses of Sanlucar
Equestrian competitions are held annually on the beach of the town., by the Society of Horse Racing de Sanlucar de Barrameda and the Ayuntamiento de Sanlucar, first started in 1845 they are the oldest English style racing celebrated in Spain, and have the status of International Tourist Festival Andaluz both nationally and internationally and is part of the Spanish horse racing circuit.

Museums and other cultural facilities

The Museum of the Sea features various aspects of the character of seafaring Sanlucar.
