Monument to the Constitution of 1812, A memorial designed to commemorate the centennial of the promulgation of the Constitution of 1812. The project was the work of Modesto Lopez Otero 1885-1962 the architect and the sculptor Aniceto Marinas 1866-1953. It was opened in 1912.

The Torre Tavira is a watch tower and the tallest point of the city of Cadiz, at 45 meters above sea level. Located in the House-palace of the Marquis of Recano it was built in the eighteenth century in the Baroque style.

The Vigia officer at the port of Cadiz in 1778 received the name of the first watchman, Antonio Tavira whose job was to report by a system of signals with flags to Torre Alta, San Fernando Cadiz. These signals controlled the traffic of ships and goods from the port of Cadiz and his daily observations were recorded in the The party official watchtower journal.

The Town Hall, built on the foundation and location of the previous House Consistoriales in 1699. The current City of Cadiz is the result of two stages of design development first was the neoclassical style and launched in 1799 and the architect was Torcuato Benjumeda, and a second in the Elizabethan style by Garcia Poplar in 1861 who would also oversee the interior design. Cadiz is a fortress located at one end of La Caleta on a small island where, according to the classic legends was the Temple of Kronos. In 1706 work began on fortifications enabling the defending the northern flank of the city.

Teatro Romano de Cadiz

According to archaeologists, this finding confirms the greatness of the city of Gades, which had a census population of over 80,000 people when the city dominated the Atlantic trade and was one of the most prosperous cities of the Roman Empire.

There is a project to build a reception centre and Interpretation centre regarding the History of The Teatro Romano de Cadiz as it is important being developed at the same time as the Coliseum.

Baluarte de la Candelaria, Museo de Cadiz, Arc of White, Arco de la Rosa, Hospital de Nuestra Senora del Carmen are also must see buildings, along with, St. Josephs Church. Church of the Carmen is a Baroque church that was completed in 1762, Royal Chapel of Our Lady of the popular and the Church of the Conversion of St. Paul are worthy a visit as well.
